Welcome to Ubuntusoftware's offical Ultimate 1.4+ repository or repo for short. This repo unlike the other repo included in Ultimate 1.3 or less, is just for Ultimate 1.4+ hosted on this server.
Repositories or repos for short are banks
of software for sometimes in categories sometimes just specific. It is highly recomended to enable all repos to have the largest
quanity of software availible and can be done by
System>>Administration>>Synaptic enter your password when
prompted and goto settings from the menu and click Repositories.
Check all the boxes on the first tab except maybe cd-rom so you
don't have to have the disk. Goto the third tab and check any
there as well if you have added custom ones. From here you can
also add custom repos via the add button. Click close and click
the reload button you should now be set.
Adding custom repos there are many ways to
do this I will show all the ways I can think of, beyond using the above
method. Below are methods of adding our custom repo which hosts
hard to obtain packages of some great software for Ubuntu.
A few notes: Even though you may be able to
download a program from one of our webpages, using the repo method will
always ensure you obtain the newest version. Unfortunatly I don't have
time to update every page each time a program is updated.
Similarly, the same goes with
Reconstructor rmods, it is highly recomended to right click and save
versus copy paste from the webpage to ensure you have the most up to
date module.
Terminal method 1
Open a terminal Applications>>Accessories>>Terminal
copy and paste the repo in that file for example:

This method will append it directly to your sources.list. To
update your list after appending using any of the above methods:
Enjoy your new software such as Sum - Start-up manager as it isn't hosted on any repo I know of. To obtain sum for example:
We will soon have a GPG key to make the
"--allow-unauthenticated" go away. As of current we host the
following additional 505 packages:
